Meet and Greet and Tryouts Tomorrow!!!

    Hello Team!

Can you believe it is swim season already?  Our season is beginning a bit earlier this year since we want to be done by July 4th.  What this means is that the water is still a bit chilly.  With it raining last night and with cooler temperatures over the next couple of days we have decided to do a meet and greet tomorrow evening for all returning swimmers and anyone 9-18.  It will a meet and greet between 5:30 and 6:30 PM for you to introduce your kiddos to their coaches.  If you child is eight or under and is new to the team they will be doing a swim test, which will consist of swimming freestyle and backstroke.   Don’t worry!  If they don’t know the strokes we will teach them but we need to ensure they are safe in the water before we get started on Tuesday.  Thursday evening, May 4th we will be having D & J Sports coming to our pool so that everyone can get their team suit.  If you cannot make it, you can go to their shop and pick it up.  More information to come during the week!

Practices until we are done with school will be Monday through Thursday evenings (if you can’t make all of them we encourage you to come as much as possible to make the most of your time with us):

    Evening Practices

    6 & unders – 5 to 5:30 PM

    7 & 8’s – 5:30 to 6 PM

    9 & 10’s – 5:50 to 6:30 PM

    11 to 18’s – 5 to 5:45 PM

On June 5th, we will be switching to morning practices.  They are tentatively set but subject to change:

    Morning Practices

    6 & unders –  8 to 8:45 AM

    7 & 8’s – 8:45 to 9:30 AM

    9 & 10’s – 9:30 to 10:15 AM

    11 to 18’s – 8 to 9:15 AM

If you have not paid your registration we will be taking payments tomorrow as well.  We need to receive your payment before your kiddos can swim because of insurance liability.  If this is an issue, please let me know.  I look forward to seeing everyone at the pool this week and am SO excited to watch our swimmers grow in their abilities!!!
