Hello All,

Thank you to ALL that helped out last night.  Our first away meet went well and I loved getting to see teamwork amongst our parents as well.  One of the best things I saw last night was our kids cheering on their peers and it made my heart smile.  They ALL did their best and even though we did not win the meet they swam their hearts out.  I also want to say a special thank you to the ladies who stepped up and ran the ready bench last night.  You guys were ROCK STARS!!!  Last night's opposing team was almost twice the size of our team and although our kiddos did well there was no way we were going to win the meet.  Our time is coming though!!!  I am attaching the meet results for you and will be handing out ribbons tomorrow morning at practice. 

I opened up the meet RSVP and Volunteer slots for next  Tuesday's home meet today.  Please RSVP your family by Thursday so our coaches can build the meet.  It will be hard to fill all of the volunteer positions so please help out if you can as it takes so many of us to run our home meets.  It is with a heavy heart that I have to let you know that I will not be at the meet next week.  We have a mandatory function to be at and there is no getting out of it.  YOU guys have the knowledge to make it a great evening and don't worry, I will leave lists for everything to ensure that all tasks are covered.  

Lastly, we will begin our learn to swim program as early as tomorrow if you are interested.  There is a one time $5 fee for siblings that are not currently enrolled in our program to insure them and the lessons will be $15 per class.  It is first come first serve so please email me ASAP so you can get on the list.  If you would like to begin as early as tomorrow, the coaches are ready!  The times will be:

• 9:30 to 10 (we can accommodate two kids)
• 10 to 10:30 (we can accommodate four kids)
• 10:30 to 11 (we can accommodate four kids)
