Hello All,

It was a great first meet.  I especially enjoyed watching our new swimmers that had butterflies do amazing during their events.  Their team spirit was so sweet to watch.  They happily cheered on their teammates.  I also received a HUGE compliment from a member of the Braun Station team.  She said that our team was very hospitable, kind and welcoming.  That truly says a lot about who we are and makes my heart happy.  We did not win the meet tonight but had about 30 fewer swimmers than they did which makes it really tough to be competitive just by sheer number. 

I am attaching the final results for you and we will be discussing with the kids on Tuesday evening about how we can improve for our next meet on June 6th.  We will be handing out their ribbons from tonight's meet at practice next week as well.   

There will be no practice on Monday night so enjoy the day with your family and we will see everyone at the pool on Tuesday evening.  Team pictures will also be done on Tuesday evening.  I will send out a separate email this weekend with the specifics on the times as well as the order form for you to see. 

Lastly, I want to thank ALL of you for helping out tonight.  There are so many moving parts and it really requires most parents to make it as smooth as possible.  You guys did an amazing job and I so appreciate each and every one of you.  Have a great long weekend and I will see you at the pool next week!
