Hello All,

After much discussion with the team we were supposed to swim on Wednesday we have jointly decided to cancel that meet.  It is a ton to ask of you to come to three meets next week.  So we will just have the away meet on Monday evening and the Championship meet on Saturday afternoon.

We will be building the Championship meet this weekend and will be locking the RSVP area tomorrow morning at 10 AM.  Once this is done, your kids will NOT be in the meet.  I cannot stress this enough - there are still 7 kids that have not been declared and I don't want them disappointed later because I am not allowed to add kids to the meet once I have sent the file.  Also, EVERY family will have a job during the meet so please remember this.  I have only a portion of the volunteer spots showing but will be calling on you during the meet for many tasks.  If you want to know what your job is going to be I would select a spot NOW! 

The swim center will not be open for us to enter until 1:30 PM on race day.  We will have an assigned area so be looking for our team banner.  The league puts together the meet program for this event and they charge $5 for it unlike our previous meets where I send them to you the night before.  It is a fundraiser for the league so that we can continue to purchase things for everyone in the league.  I have attached a meet information document that the league puts together and have highlighted the most important things for you. 

Midweek I will have a better understanding of how long the meet should last so please bear with me until then and I will give you more information as it becomes available.  I will also send you a picture of the swim center late Friday night or early Saturday morning giving you a visual picture of where we will be setup on meet day. 

The coaches will be putting our kids into the meet this weekend and are trying to make the best meet possible for our team since this is a championship meet.  Please remember, I am the lead volunteer and I just send the files to the league!

It is going to be a fun week and I look forward to seeing everyone at the pool!
