VERY IMPORTANT INFO!!!!
Hello All!
It is so hard to believe that today was our last full practice of the season. The kids have done an amazing job this season and it has been a delight to watch them grow. The Championship Meet this weekend is a fun and exciting time for our team. With it, comes much responsibility both from our swimmers and our parents. It will take many of us to run this meet and I hope that you will be willing to step up on Saturday to help us with making sure that the kids make it to the blocks for their swims.
They will have assigned seating during the meet with their age groups and they MUST stay in their seats. If they feel the need to sit with you then you need to be assisting with their age group and sit with them. This meet is going to be moving VERY fast and they WILL have to be alert at all times. Please help us in making sure your kiddos follow the rules. It starts with YOUR guidance!!!
We will be having positive check in on Saturday. You may come in as early as 1:30 but need to have found me by 2 PM. If your child is in a relay and you are running late they will be taken out of their relays if you show up late. Please understand it will be crazy and if you need to drop them at the door and then park to ensure they will be on time DO IT!!! We really are hoping not to have to scratch any relays since it hurts the remaining three people and I cannot add them to any races on meet day. Please be considerate of others and be ON TIME.

Here are some thoughts from our League President that will help you in knowing how to prepare as well.
1. The concession stand is contracted out by Palo Alto and is not run by the league. It is a CASH ONLY concession stand. PLEASE BRING SMALLER BILLS LIKE $5s and $1s to the meet. The concession stand lady and the league ran out of change on Saturday and had to scramble to get some change for the Sunday meet last year.
2. Items not allowed into the natatorium: CHAIRS AND FOOD FROM THE OUTSIDE. Outside food will be confiscated by PAC security since there is a concession stand. Do not bring in ice chests.
3. Meet programs are NOT free like dual meet programs were. Meet programs and t-shirt sales are part of the league's fundraising efforts. Meet programs cost is $5. DO NOT BRING $20 DOLLAR BILLS if possible. You may write a CHECK to the league for a meet program or to order a championship meet t-shirt.
4. They will be taking pre-paid orders for championship meet t-shirts at the meet program sales desk in the entry hallway at the natatorium. Cost is $10 each. Checks and cash are the ONLY acceptable forms of payment. The 2nd screening of the shirts--which are any ordered after this past Friday at noon--will be delivered at the All-Star Meet on July 1st to your team rep or coach if you are not attending that meet.
5. Division 2 Meet Programs sales personnel need to be in the front entryway hall at the sales desk no later than 1:15 p.m. to work.
6. Ready Bench parents: Set up your ready bench swimmers on the 2nd row in your team area. This will help to keep an open pathway in front of the bleachers.
7. We will try to keep teams' assigned seating in the West bleachers with most of the parents seated in the East bleachers. Some of the East bleachers have seats with backs, but not all.
8. DO NOT park on the grass or be prepared to be towed! Please park only in paved lots.
