Meet Program Attached!!!
Hello All!
It is hard to believe that our meet is upon us tomorrow! I want to send you our heat sheet (meet program) for the meet tonight so you have time to look it over and email me with any questions or concerns before getting to the pool tomorrow. Please mark your child before coming to the pool for warm-up so it will be easier for them. It is best to mark them prior to putting sunscreen on so that it doesn’t smear.
I have enabled Meet Mobile this evening and you may find our meet by searching for WILD vs TIPA. As we score the meet tomorrow the results will be live for you to see. If you have not downloaded the app go to http://www.active.com/mobile/meet-mobile. Technology is an awesome thing!
Tomorrow you need to have your swimmers to the pool at 4:30 for warm-up. YOU need to come to the check in table to let us know your swimmers have arrived and check in for your volunteer pass if you have one. There will also be a sweet and special treat for our swimmers that you will pick up when checking in! There are still some kiddos that have not picked up their shirts and we will have them set up as well for pick up. Swim caps and visors will also be available for purchase.
If you have any questions about things tomorrow please find a seasoned veteran. I will be running around trying to get our meet ready and won’t have any time to chat. We have a new dry erase board where I will be posting important information for you. Please check it out!
We still are in need of volunteers for tomorrow’s meet so please look at the jobs still out there and pick one. Do you have a LARGE marine ice chest? We would love to borrow it tomorrow for the meet. We are also in need of a few more six foot tables. Please let me know if you are willing to share tomorrow.
Our kiddos will be seated under the pop up tents in the grassy area behind the starting blocks. You are free to find a spot near them if you can. Please bring a pop up for you as well as chairs to sit in. We have given the other team the shady area by the baby pool.
Parking will be an issue tomorrow. If you can ride your bicycle or carpool to have less vehicles in the area it would be a huge help. There will be a police officer directing traffic and caution tape will be posted where we shouldn’t park! The sheriff’s department usually will end up coming out and writing tickets so please abide by the traffic laws and not park too close to an intersection, block a driveway, or park opposite of the right of way. You may also park at Krueger Elementary and walk over. We appreciate your willingness in helping us keep the traffic to a minimum.
Our summer practice schedule has been finalized. It is as follows:
8:15 to 9:30 AM – 11 to 18 yr olds
9:15 to 9:45 AM – 6 & unders
9:45 to 10:30 AM – 7 & 8 yr olds
9:45 to 10:45 AM – 9 & 10 yr olds
Tomorrow will be a great opportunity for your child to shine and show us what they have learned so far this season. It is a pleasure working with your kiddos and I am so excited to cheer ALL of them on. Please let me know if you have any other questions and I look forward to seeing you at the pool.
