Hello!

D & J Sports will be at our pool tomorrow, May 16th from 5 PM to 7 PM.  You may come anytime during that time to get your swim suits and other swim gear that your swimmer may need.  They will have all swim suit sizes and allow you to try them on before purchasing.  You may use a credit card, check or cash for your purchase.

If you have ordered a swim cap from the team they are in and you may pick them up on Monday during practice.  If you still need one please email me ASAP so that I can get one to you as well.  Our caps are silicone and have our logo on them.  They run $8.  The swim store will have swim caps that are at least that expensive on hand tomorrow but will be plain.  It is nice to have our team cap if you want to wear one.

Next week our coaches will begin working with our swimmers on the diving blocks.  These practices are really fun to watch!  They will also be teaching fly and breast with most of our kiddos.  We are so fortunate to have three more weeks of swimming before our first meet on June 6th.  Be looking for more information about that in the next couple of weeks.

Many of you have needed something from me in the last few days or ask me to add to our t-shirt order and things like that.  With over 125 kids and over 60 parents it is very difficult to remember everything you tell me when I am on deck.  I am asking that you put it in writing in a text or email so that I can address your needs properly.  If it needs immediate attention please find me on deck.  My email is [email protected] and cell is 210-912-9834. 

Lastly, it would be great to have more hands on deck getting our equipment setup and taken down.  I, like you, am a volunteer and would love your help.  More hands make light work.  Thank you for allowing us to teach your children the life skill of swimming.  We can already see improvement and cannot wait to see what the season brings.  Please let me know if you need anything from me and I look forward to seeing you at the pool!
