Hello All!

It is hard to believe that week one is almost over!  The coaches are beginning to move kiddos around in their groups and are working on stroke development with them.  I can see many of the kids improving already and it warms my heart!  I wanted to chat a bit about a couple of things.  We have rain chances tonight and tomorrow.  Many are curious about our policy so here it is!  If it is lightly raining and NO thunder and lightening, practice will GO on.  If the rain is heavy, the winds are bad and there is thunder and lightening we will cancel practice.  I am also going to try a new component offered on our website and send out a text message if I need to get a hold of you so you know what is going on.  If you haven't authorized us to send you a text I suggest you do - it will only be used for special occasions like a thunderstorm. 

Also, our t-shirts and other spirit items are going to go to the printer next week and I need to get a final count for the order.  If you are interested in purchasing a t-shirt for you and your spouse or siblings NOT on the team let me know how many and what size you are needing.  We are also ordering Wildhorse swim caps this year and they are a good quality silicone for $8.  Please email me if you want to place an order or if you are needing to change a shirt size. 

Coach Kelly has asked us to move the practice time for the 11-18 year olds back to 6 PM effective tomorrow!  They will go until 7 PM. 

Lastly, we will have D & J Sports set up at our pool next Friday afternoon, May 16th from 5 PM until 6 PM.  They will have our team suits in all sizes and will allow you to try them on before purchasing.  The girls suit is $46 and the boys is $31.  In addition, they will have goggles and other swim gear for purchase at that time.  You may pay by credit card, cash or check.  If for some reason you are unable to make it to the pool that day you may go to them.  Their address is 6413 Blanco Road, San Antonio, TX 78216.  They will honor our team price if you identify that you are from Wildhorse and they will also know exactly what you will need. 

The season is moving full speed ahead and it is such a pleasure to watch your kiddos in the water.  Please let me know if you have any questions and I look forward to seeing everyone by the pool.
