Hello All!

I know everyone is super anxious about getting started. Hoping our weather improves so that the pool temperature warms up so we don't have blue children!  For those of you who have new swimmers that are eight or younger there will be a tryout between 5:30 - 6:30 PM tomorrow, May 1st .  All they will be doing is swimming for about five minutes so that the coaches can assess them.  You may drop in at any time during the hour window.  If you are unable to come at that time please email me and we will arrange another time. ALL new kids within this age group must do the swim test prior to beginning practice on May 5th.

Monday - Thursday Practice schedule (until School is out)

• 6 and unders - 5:30 to 6:00 (they will break into two groups after the first week)
• 7-10 yr olds - 5:30 to 6:15 (they will break into two groups after the first week)
• 11-18 yr olds - 6:00 to 7:00 

***Once everyone has been evaluated the groups will change just a bit.  We will have new times after the first week. This gives your swimmer more time with their coach as well as smaller group size.  We will also be extending practice times as their stamina increases and the water temperature rises. 

Our summer schedule will roughly be (Beginning 9th):

• 11-18 yr olds 8:15 to 9:30
• 7-10 yr olds will be in two groups - either 8:45 to 9:30 or 9:30 to 10:30
• 6 and unders - either 9:00 to 9:45 or 9:45 to 10:30

Our team suits will be available for purchase on Friday, May 16th from 4:30 until 6:00 PM.

Many of you have elected to pay later and that is perfect!  We will need to receive your payment prior to swim starting on May 5th.

HELP NEEDED

I want to offer everyone a couple of ways to reduce the team fees.  First, we are looking for TWO stroke and turn judges for our meets and requires a free two hour class.  If you are wanting more information and/or willing to do this I will reduce your registration by 50%!  Also, we are doing a sports park clean up on Saturday, May 3rd from 9:30 AM to noon.  If your family participates, I will reduce your dues by $20 a family.   This is one way that we can show our thanks for using the facility.  Please reply to me and let me know you are coming so we can plan accordingly.
