    Hi there!
I was at Palo Alto College this afternoon and have many details to share with you.  First, there is major construction and roads are closed where my gps sent me so I am suggesting you follow my new directions instead.  It will drop you really close to the aquatic center.  If you go on 410 past Lackland AFB take the Zarzamora exit (exit # 48).  Stay on access road until the turnaround. Follow it until you see the arched entrance to the college. The road is Camino Real. You will take an immediate left onto Conception street (there is a performing arts center - it's a large red building).  The tennis courts will be in front of you and the aquatic center is to the right of the courts. There should be plenty of parking.

There will be guards posted at the entrance and will be confiscating food that is being brought in.  If you want to bring in your own things please conceal them and I bet you will be fine. Also, meet programs will be $5 and will cover events at both pools during our meet. They also said today that the scoreboard will showing both pool results simultaneously for you.

You will not be allowed into the facility prior to 12:30 and that is when we would like for you to arrive.  Once inside look for our Wildhorse area (should be posted with a light green sign near the top of the bleachers) and that is where our kids, age group parents and ready bench parents will be sitting. They MUST stay with us in the bleachers during the meet.   It might be a good idea to give them a bag that has their personal items and food so they have what they need. You may visit them but they many NOT visit you. The meet will be moving so fast that it is imperative that they are available when needed to line up for their races.

The kids that are ten and under will be swimming in the middle pool. They will be doing deck dives with the exception of the medley relay at the start of the meet. The older kiddos will be swimming in the north pool by the diving platforms. The pictures I am attaching will help you understand the layout a bit better.

As always, if you are running late and don't let us know your children will be scratched from their relays. It is imperative that you let us know ASAP if your child for whatever reason will NOT be at the meet tomorrow.  Other children are depending on them for relays and it will be a major disappointment for ALL if you do not let us know and we have to scratch events.  Our check in station will be the bottom set of bleachers where our team will be set up.  Please do this as soon as you arrive.

The concession stand will only be accepting cash so please remember to plan accordingly.  There will be plenty of spectator seating and they will not be allowing us to have any type of chairs on their deck so please leave them at home.  They will allow the padded cushions for bleachers if you want to bring those.  Also bring with you a sharpie to mark you swimmers, highlighter to highlight their races, team t-shirts to show your support, cash for concessions, towels, goggles, swim caps ( I will have swim caps available for purchase tomorrow if you are needing one) and anything they will need to keep them occupied during the event.

Please email me back with any questions you might have.  It is going to be a ton of fun for all and I hope that you kiddos are in bed so they get they are rested for our big day tomorrow.  I look forward to seeing you then!
